28, 1999 You said "hat". No
assistance or coaching. You picked up a green cap lying
in the floor and you said "hat". It sounded
more like "at", but I knew what you were
saying. However, "light" became your biggest
word. You knew which switch turned on which light and
you would want us to hold you so you could turn the
lights on and off. You would also point at the moon
and say light. You also try to "here kitty,
kitty, kitty". |

17, 1999 YOU TOOK OFF YOU DIAPER! I went to
check on you and found your diaper lying in the hall.
I called your name and you came out from behind the
door in your room wearing only a shirt. |

first boat ride. It was a very large catamaran. Some
Dolphins swam with the boat and we saw a whale jumping
out of the water. |

went to the Maui Ocean Center Aquarium. You were very
interested in the fish.

You went to your first theater. We went to the Dome
Theater and watched the history of Hawaii.

You also had your first train ride. We rode the Sugar
Cane Train.

experience. You were not sure about the water at
first. However when we went back that Wednesday you
decided it was pretty fun. You would kick your feet in
the water when the waves came in. |

thought it was blood, the doctor’s office worked us
in and Dr. Sedacca discovered that it was earwax. |
